When to use PDF to Images
Use this when you need lossless images and want every page, not just one. PNG keeps text edges crisp and supports transparency, which makes it the right pick for slides you plan to re-embed, diagrams, or anything with fine line work. If the images are headed for email or a size-capped upload form, PDF to JPG produces much smaller files for the same pages.

Troubleshooting
The zip contains fewer images than the PDF has pages
PDFs over 50 pages are capped. Split the PDF first, then convert each part.
Text looks soft when you zoom in
Pages render at a fixed 150 DPI, which is tuned for on-screen use. For print-resolution output, keep the source as a PDF rather than rasterising it.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
