When to use PDF to Word

Use this when you need to edit the words in a PDF and do not have the original document. It reconstructs text, paragraphs and simple layout into a DOCX. It is not a pixel-perfect clone: heavily designed PDFs with multi-column layouts, text boxes or unusual fonts will need tidying afterwards. If you only need to read or share the file, converting it gains you nothing.

Troubleshooting

The DOCX has no editable text, just a picture of each page

The source PDF is a scan. Text extraction needs real text in the file - OCR is not part of this tool.

Columns, tables or spacing came out wrong

Complex layout is approximated. Expect to fix column breaks and table borders by hand in Word.

The download link stopped working

Output files are deleted an hour after upload. Nothing is recoverable after that - run the conversion again.
