When to use Resize Image
Use it when something has a hard pixel requirement - a profile picture, a forum avatar, an upload form that rejects anything over a set width. Locking the aspect ratio keeps the picture from stretching; unlocking it lets you hit an exact box at the cost of distortion. Resizing down also shrinks the file, which is often the real goal.

Troubleshooting
The enlarged image looks blurry
Scaling up invents pixels that were never captured. Start from the largest original you have.
The image looks squashed
The aspect-ratio lock was off and the new dimensions do not match the original proportions. Re-enable the lock.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
