When to use RTF to PDF
RTF is the format old word processors and some legal or medical systems still export. Converting to PDF makes the document readable and printable anywhere without hunting for software that opens RTF. Basic character and paragraph formatting carries over; RTF has no concept of modern styling, so do not expect anything elaborate.

Troubleshooting
Embedded images are missing
RTF stores images in several incompatible ways and not all of them survive. Re-embed the image in a DOCX and use Word to PDF instead.
Fonts changed
Fonts not present on the server are substituted with the nearest available match.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
