Copy the link to the YouTube video and paste it in

  2. 2

  3. 3

Choose a format and quality, or trim to a range

  4. 4

Click Download - your file is ready in a moment

When to use the YouTube downloader

For saving a video you have the right to keep - your own uploads, Creative Commons material, or content you have permission to reuse - so it plays offline without an app. Availability is the honest caveat here: YouTube actively works to block this kind of tool, so support is switched off at times rather than served broken.

Troubleshooting

YouTube downloads are unavailable

Support is off by default and gets re-enabled when extraction is working reliably. Check back rather than retrying - the other platforms are unaffected.

No formats were found for a valid link

YouTube changed something on their side. Nothing you can do locally will fix it.

Trimming takes longer than a straight download

Trimmed and merged high-quality downloads are processed server-side rather than streamed through, so they take longer.
