When to use Crop Image
For trimming away what should not be in the frame - a cluttered background, a stray edge on a phone scan, or the extra whitespace around a screenshot. Drag the selection over the live preview and the crop applies to the image's real pixel dimensions, so what you select is exactly what you get.

Troubleshooting
The crop is slightly off from your selection
The preview is scaled to fit your screen while the crop applies at full resolution. Zoom in before selecting for pixel-exact edges.
You wanted a specific output size
Crop first to fix the framing, then run Resize Image to hit exact dimensions.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
