When to use Rotate & Flip Image
Two related fixes. Rotation corrects a photo that came out sideways, usually because a phone's orientation data was ignored somewhere along the way. Flipping mirrors the image, which matters for selfie-camera shots where text reads backwards, or when you need a mirrored version for a layout.

Troubleshooting
The photo looked upright before uploading
Some apps display the correct orientation from EXIF metadata without applying it. Rotating here writes the orientation into the pixels so it holds everywhere.
Text reads backwards after flipping
That is what a horizontal flip does. Flip it back, or rotate instead if orientation was the actual problem.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
