When to use Merge PDFs
For assembling a packet from separate files - a signed contract plus its appendices, a scanned form plus proof of address, chapters exported one at a time. You get page thumbnails and can reorder across files before exporting, so it also doubles as a rebuild tool when a document arrived in the wrong sequence.

Troubleshooting
One of the files will not load
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged while locked. Remove the password with Unlock PDF first.
Pages merged in an unexpected order
Order comes from the thumbnail arrangement, not filenames. Check the thumbnail strip before exporting.
The upload is rejected before anything happens
The file is over the 20 MB cap. Compress it first, or split a long PDF into smaller files and process them separately.
